Moxie's Tale
Moxie's Tale (or Moxietale) is an abandoned original story about a young demigod princess traveling the world as the apprentice of two gods of a dubious past.
The plot was planned to be an episodic animated affair, with each chapter being the exploits of one of the gods' missions to a kingdom or area of the realm in order to fight evil - often in the form of their fellow deity brethren. Over time the cracks and inconsistencies in the gods' benevolent facade gave way to a web of ongoing divine power-struggle, which Moxie's masters were far from innocent parties within.
History
Moxie's Tale was developed between 2015 and 2019, during the most formative years of my artistic career. It was my first attempt at an organized world with a mythos and plotline, even if it wasn't incredibly focused at the time.
Ever since stepping away from the project my storytelling skills have improved massively (at least I hope so), and I often look back at some of the ideas in this story fondly... There's no plans for a revisit as I have more appealing creative projects, but don't be surprised if you see a concept or two in here somewhere else.
